The National Weather Service has extended its tornado warning to include extreme southeastern Colleton County as well as the Edisto Beach area until 5 p.m.
The tornado warning was first issued about 3:35 p.m. after two waterspouts were spotted off Edisto Beach. One spout was about 100 yards offshore and the other about 500 yards, both moving toward the beach, according to the Weather Service.
Those are only waterspouts spotted so far today, according to the weather service.
